The General Agriculture certificate at Reedley College is aimed at students who want to enter the agriculture workforce and still keep room to shape their own specialty. It is listed as a Certificate of Achievement within the Agriculture and Natural Resources pathway. Coursework builds practical working skills across several areas of the industry. Students learn how computers are applied in agricultural settings, how sales approaches work, and how accounting is handled on farms and in agribusiness. They also practice basic plant science methods, develop machinery and mechanical know-how, and explore the careers open to them. Because the program is flexible, learners can combine these subjects in ways that fit their goals.
