MA/MS in Education, General

Rosemont College offers a Master of Arts in Education online through its School of Graduate Studies. It is designed mainly for practicing teachers, though other people wanting an advanced education qualification may also join. The curriculum links educational theory with practice in real settings, and the college notes that its graduate education programs have Pennsylvania Department of Education approval. Its goals follow the state's competency expectations for each program. The program is intended to strengthen both classroom practice and leadership, so graduates can move toward administrative or policy positions as well as teaching. Small classes are led by faculty who have worked as educators. Graduates are prepared for roles such as classroom teacher, program director, administrator and educational policy analyst.
