General Business gives students a wide view of how information, economics, and people interact in a global field. The major develops skills in computer-based information systems, assessing global and industry trends, and managing people, technology, and information to produce goods and services, touching on accounting, legal issues, computing, economics, marketing, and statistics. It is offered on the St. Cloud campus and in other delivery formats, including an accelerated online version. Students gain sales experience in the Northwestern Mutual Sales Lab, choose among business student organizations, and can study abroad in places such as Spain, England, Germany, Australia, and the Netherlands. The business school holds AACSB accreditation and has every major complete a shared core. Graduates move into management, sales, banking, and executive roles, supported by an alumni network across the state and nation.
