Cert in Computer Programming

The Computer Programmer certificate prepares students for jobs as computer programmers, internet programmers and web developers. Learners pick up several programming and scripting languages. People already working in the field can use it to refresh skills or learn newer technologies in a formal setting. Finishing the certificate positions graduates to continue into the associate degree in Programming and Analysis or a four-year degree in computing fields. There are no admission requirements, and preparatory courses are available to anyone not yet at college level. Books and lab fees are additional. Financial aid, institutional scholarships and military-friendly support are available to eligible students, and the program page links to each resource. Prospective students are encouraged to speak with an advisor about sequencing, since planning ahead helps them stay on track toward finishing.
