AA/AS in Mathematics

Mathematics at St. Philip's College is a pre-major taught face to face in the Natural Sciences, Kinesiology, Engineering and Mathematics department. The department serves many disciplines, including students who aim at science, math, engineering, and technology careers. Courses stress organization, critical thinking, and applying models to real-world problems. Beyond the major track, the department provides basic courses that meet Core Curriculum requirements. Mathematics classes at the college level ready students for upper-division work in those same fields after transfer.
