AA/AS in Psychology, General

Psychology is presented as a science that relies on critical thinking and sound research to explain behavior and mental processes. The program follows the Texas Transfer Framework, including its Field of Study component. That structure gives students a strong foundation for moving on to a baccalaureate college or university. A psychology degree can open doors in clinical work, counseling, school and industrial psychology and research. The page lists a typical length of 4 semesters, with a combined cost of $16,500 for tuition, fees and books. Students can find financial aid, scholarship information and class schedules through links on the program page. As a community college pathway, it is meant to be approachable for students at different stages, whether they are starting college for the first time, changing careers or collecting credits to continue elsewhere. Prospective students can use the enrollment link on the program page to begin.
