PGCert in Museology/Museum Studies

The Museum Studies graduate certificate is offered through the College of Art and covers the core practice of museums. It is an official credential posted to the academic transcript. Required seminars address museum studies, collections management, museum education and exhibitions, along with a special topics course and a supervised internship. The program page lists a header figure of 12 credits, while its course table totals a different amount, so students should confirm requirements with the unit. Certificate candidates must be formally admitted, complete approved graduate coursework, remain enrolled in the term of award and apply to graduate. Prerequisites and deadlines are handled by the offering department. Degree requirements follow the university's graduate degrees section, and applicants should consult the department for current application details.
