PGCert in Student Counseling and Personnel Services

This graduate-level certificate at Western Kentucky University provides advanced knowledge for helping professionals who serve students and clients in career services, including an internship in career counseling. It is a short, focused credential rather than a full degree. Participants complete a fixed set of required courses along with electives where the catalog allows them, and a program coordinator can answer questions about fit. Where the catalog permits, the credential can count toward a related degree. The page also lists the faculty contact, the credit structure and the courses that make up the plan of study, so applicants can compare the offering with their own goals and prior preparation before they commit to an application. Applicants should check the official catalog entry for current course lists and admission conditions.
