MA/MS in Biotechnology

This master's program in biotechnology broadens students' grasp of the biological sciences and prepares them for work or doctoral study in biotechnology. Classes meet in late afternoons and evenings, and the part-time structure is designed with working students in mind. Up to twelve eligible graduate credits may be transferred in. A 4-Plus option lets current undergraduate biotechnology majors complete both degrees in five years. The program is taught at Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts, and is a graduate course of study leading to a master's degree. Students work with faculty advisors to plan their studies and to connect coursework with their professional aims. Prospective students can request information, arrange a campus visit or begin an application through the university's website.
