Founded 1920 as Ukrainian Cooperative Institute of Professor Mykhailo Ivanovych Tuhan-Baranovskyi, attached to Kyiv Institute of National Economy 1921, separated 1922 as independent university named Kyiv Cooperative Higher Technical College.
Converted to Kyiv Cooperative Institute of Vlas Chubar 1927, reorganized as Kyiv cooperative technical college 1964. Renamed Kyiv Cooperative College of Economic and Law 1997.
Acquired status of college and renamed Kyiv Cooperative Economic and Law College 1999. Acquired current title 2009 and status 2010
