Overview

The Associate Degree in Marketing (Full-Time) at Barbados Community College is a two-year programme built to produce marketing professionals ready for a competitive global marketplace. It extends the Division of Commerce's existing full-time offerings and is aimed squarely at Business Studies school leavers who already show an interest in, and aptitude for, marketing and want to deepen that knowledge formally. Learning experiences are planned and sequenced deliberately rather than left to chance, and because Marketing is paired with at least one other major, students take only two marketing courses per semester while building a broader academic profile alongside it. The structure suits students who want focused marketing training without narrowing their options too early, leaving room to combine commercial insight with another area of specialisation.
