Military Arts and Science is a two-year Ontario College Diploma delivered entirely online for non-commissioned members of the Canadian Armed Forces and others interested in military affairs. The curriculum covers leadership, management, operational planning, ethics, military law, innovation in military technology, risk management, and communication skills, and culminates in an applied, unclassified capstone project. The program is designed to build the essential skills required to function effectively and progress as a non-commissioned member, and is structured so students can study part-time around active service and deployment schedules. Graduates may receive advanced standing toward the Bachelor of Military Arts and Science degree program offered through the Royal Military College of Canada, giving RMC-bound students a head start on a military-focused university degree. Students have up to eight years to complete the program around service commitments.
