Overview
Ambrose University's Behavioural Science program is an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree that examines human behaviour at the individual, group, and societal levels, drawing on psychology, sociology, and related social-science disciplines. Students can complete the program as a four-year, 120-credit major or as a three-year, 90-credit concentration. Coursework builds theoretical and applied knowledge of human development, mental health, and social systems, preparing graduates for roles across eight career domains, including education, counselling, criminology, and child and youth work. In the third year, students complete a supervised community field placement: 250 practicum hours for the full major, or 125 hours for the concentration, giving them direct experience working with individuals and communities in real service settings. By combining classroom study with hands-on fieldwork, the program equips graduates for a wide range of human-services, social-science, and community-support careers.
