Civil Technology Certificate - Part-Time

Admission Requirements: No formal program application is required to take courses individually; a Program Declaration Request to the Civil Engineering department is submitted once a student intends to complete the certificate. The stated entrance requirements are English language proficiency at BCIT's Category 3 level (English Studies 12 at 50%, or an institution-wide equivalent such as IELTS Academic overall 6.0 with no band below 5.0, TOEFL iBT 82 with no section below 19, or PTE Academic 52 with no skill below 50) and Math 12, or BCIT's MATH 0001 Technical Mathematics course, or equivalent; applicants who completed Math 12 more than five years earlier are strongly advised to start with one of the required math upgrading courses. This program is not available to international students, who are directed instead to BCIT's Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering.
