Applied Computer Information Systems Associate Certificate - Part-Time

Admission Requirements: Applicants must complete COMP 1002 before submitting their program declaration. The English-language requirement sits in BCIT's Category 2 band, met by English Studies 12 at 67% or equivalent, or by Category 2 international scores (IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band under 5.5, TOEFL iBT 86 with no section under 20, PTE Academic 60 with no skill under 60, or Duolingo 120 with no integrated subscore under 95), per BCIT's institution-wide English Language Proficiency page. Students who already hold BCIT's Applied Computer Applications (ACA) associate certificate cannot be approved for this program because of course overlap, and anyone needing a program letter for a funding timeline must first contact the department for a signed Course Planning Document. The program's own page states it is not available to international students, and runs three intake windows a year (roughly January, April and September, each with its own opening and closing dates).
