Overview
The Marketing Management (Digital Marketing and Brand Strategy Option) Diploma at the British Columbia Institute of Technology is the second year of a two-year marketing management diploma, combining in-class lectures and labs with a 10-week internship. Coursework covers communication, brand and campaign strategy, campaign planning, paid advertising, marketing research, and consumer behaviour, building on the program's shared first-year foundation. Students work in project groups to plan and execute marketing campaigns and have access to industry networking opportunities. About 75% of graduates begin work in the field immediately after graduation, in roles across marketing, advertising, promotions, and public relations. Course credits from the diploma can also be applied toward full- or part-time study in BCIT's Bachelor of Business Administration program. Graduates are prepared for roles such as marketing coordinator, digital marketing specialist, brand strategist, social media coordinator, and marketing manager.
