Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician Certificate

Admission Requirements: The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician certificate requires Category 2 English (English Studies 12 at 67% or equivalent, or the BCIT English Trades Entry Assessment) and one math course from Pre-Calculus 11, Foundations of Math 11, or Workplace Math 11, each at 60%, another acceptable BC/Yukon course, or the BCIT Math Trades Entry Assessment, plus a pass on the BCIT Mechanical Reasoning Trades Entry Assessment. No GPA, portfolio, or interview is stated. This program is not available to international students. Applicants must meet all entrance requirements before applying and are accepted on a first-qualified basis as long as space remains, with a single intake each September.
