Trades - Apprenticeship in Truck and Coach Technician Apprenticeship

The Truck and Coach Technician Apprenticeship delivers the in-school component of the truck and coach apprenticeship at the Commerce Court Campus, drawing on Canadore's working relationships with local trucking and repair facilities. Apprentices train in a professional shop environment alongside other trade workers, and the Ontario Certificate of Qualification earned on completion is recognized both nationally and internationally. Delivered in a day-release format, the program runs across three levels; each level is one day per week for 36 weeks, totalling 240 hours of in-school instruction per level. Successful completion of all three levels makes graduates eligible to challenge the Ontario Certificate of Qualification exam for the trade. New intakes are accepted monthly. Enrolment requires an active registration as a signed apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario before applying to the program.
