Admission Requirements: This is a post-degree program: applicants must already hold an undergraduate degree (minimum 90 credits) before entering the B.Ed.; direct entry from secondary school is not permitted. CBU's own admission requirements for education programmes set an overall minimum average of 65%, rising to 70% across the applicant's last 60 credits, for both the elementary and secondary streams. Elementary-stream applicants need six credits each in English, Math (or a Math equivalent), Science-related, and Social-Studies-related coursework; secondary-stream applicants need at least 30 credit hours in a first teachable subject and 18 in a second. Applicants must also submit a letter of application of no more than 500 words, a resume of relevant work and volunteer experience, and academic and non-academic reference forms, the latter addressing leadership, communication and decision-making. No admission test score is specified for the program itself. International applicants must separately meet CBU's English-language requirement unless exempt.
