Techniques d'amenagement cynegetique et halieutique (145.B0) is a three-year Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC) technical program focused on managing and developing wildlife and fish resources. The curriculum is organized around four areas: resource management and sustainable harvesting, planning of outdoor infrastructure and trails, organization of outdoor recreational activities, and business administration for wildlife-tourism enterprises. Coursework covers general biology, ecology and wildlife conservation, cartography and geomatics, and hunting and fishing techniques, combined with extensive hands-on fieldwork carried out on the college's dedicated training territory of roughly 21 square kilometres. Practical activities make up a substantial share of the program, ranging from field surveys and equipment use to guided outdoor excursions, giving graduates direct experience with the tools and conditions of wildlife and fisheries work. Graduates are prepared for roles in wildlife and fisheries management, outdoor-tourism operations, and conservation-related enterprises across the Cote-Nord region and beyond.
