Electrical Engineering Technology: Automation and Control (243.D0) is a three-year technical DEC at Cégep de Baie-Comeau that trains students to install, troubleshoot and maintain industrial control and automation systems. Coursework covers industrial electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical networks, automation programming, robotics and safety protocols, with mechanical and welding competencies integrated alongside electrical theory. No English or French proficiency test is published; applications go through the Service régional d'admission au collégial de Québec (SRACQ). Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through the Service régional d'admission au collégial de Québec (SRACQ): for the September 2027 intake, admission rounds close 1 March, 1 May, 1 June and 1 August 2027, and for January 2027 entry the rounds close 1 November and 1 December 2026, then 2 January 2027. Requests submitted after the final round are not automatically rejected but must go through the registrar's office directly, so admission effectively continues while seats remain. International applicants first complete an information-request form and are then contacted individually by the college's international development advisor; the Cégep publishes no fixed international application deadline for the 2027 cycle.
