Multimedia Integration Techniques - Web and Apps (582.A1) is a three-year, six-session Diploma of College Studies (DEC) offered at Cegep de Sainte-Foy, with intake in the Fall term only. The program develops competencies in programming, web integration, graphic design, interface ergonomics, and audiovisual content creation, including video, sound, and animation, for building websites, mobile applications, online games, and multimedia presentations. Workplace-based learning is integrated throughout the program, with more than 20 percent of training delivered in real work settings. Graduates pursue roles such as web integrator, multimedia integrator, webmaster, web designer, programmer, web developer, and project manager, working at web and multimedia agencies and in private and public-sector organizations. Students are required to acquire a Mac or PC laptop, at an approximate cost of $2,000, plus an Adobe Creative Cloud licence at about $100 per year.
