Program details
Overview
This AEC programme trains technologists to automate industrial operation sequences using programmable controllers and measurement and control systems. Students learn to verify, modify, and program electrical circuits, program industrial automata and robots, and install, start up, and troubleshoot motors and industrial systems, with hands-on practice in dedicated laboratories. The programme totals 1,440 hours delivered across five sessions in a hybrid format, combining online coursework with in-person sessions and lab work in Victoriaville. Classes run full-time on a weekday evening schedule. Graduates earn an Attestation d'études collégiales (AEC) and are prepared for roles in industrial automation, instrumentation, and robotics maintenance and programming across manufacturing settings. The programme began accepting international applicants starting fall 2026 under a separate application process from domestic students.
