Program details
Overview
This AEC programme trains students to programme industrial robots and integrate machine vision into automated production cells. Coursework covers robot programming, artificial vision systems, virtual simulation, and networked communications, with students learning to build, integrate, and validate robotic cell functionality using simulation software. The programme totals 300 hours in a hybrid format, with one evening per week online and one evening per week in person in Victoriaville, held Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Graduates earn an Attestation d'études collégiales (AEC) and are prepared for roles in industrial robotics programming, automated cell integration, and machine vision system support within manufacturing environments. Participants need a personal laptop meeting minimum technical specifications for running simulation and vision software.
