Overview
In the Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas program, you'll take science subjects such as biology and chemistry as well as mathematics and communications. This two-semester certificate program will prepare you for your future educational and career goals. The Centennial College Pre-Health Sciences Pathway to Certificates and Diplomas courses are for you if you're: Considering college programs such as Practical Nursing*, Healthcare Environmental Services Management, Fitness and Health Promotion, Nutrition and Food Service Management, Massage Therapy, Esthetician and Food Service Worker; Exploring a college science program toward your future career goal; Acquiring academic admission credentials needed to enter college-level science programs; Seeking science courses required for post-secondary programs and have not finished high school or completed science courses. Please note*: The Practical Nursing program reserves a limited number of seats per intake for domestic Pre-Health Science graduates who meet certain conditions (such as minimum grade point average for the program and minimum grades in specific courses).
Requirements
Admission Requirements: A pathway certificate for applicants who need the science and mathematics background for a health certificate or diploma. Entry: an OSSD or equivalent, or mature-student status at 19 or older; Grade 12 English (C or U) at the stated minimum grade, or Centennial's English Admission Test; and Grade 11 Mathematics (M or U) or Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U), or Centennial's Math Skills Assessment for Admission. English language proficiency is required. International applicants are eligible and apply directly to Centennial rather than through ontariocolleges.ca. Ashtonbee Campus, with September, January and May starts.

Application Deadline:Centennial publishes no application deadline for this program; what follows is the Ontario college cycle that governs it. DOMESTIC applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for a program starting in Fall 2027 the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and applications arriving after it are still assessed, but first-come first-served while places remain. Across the Ontario college system the application opened on 26 September 2026, offers may be issued from 1 November 2026, and an offer must be accepted by 1 May 2027. One $150 fee covers up to five program choices. INTERNATIONAL applicants apply instead through Centennial's ApplyCentennial portal, for which the College publishes no fixed cut-off; it advises applying four to six months before the intended start so there is time for processing and a study permit, and charges a non-refundable $125 CAD application fee.
