Overview
The Massage Therapy program prepares students for licensure as Registered Massage Therapists in Ontario, combining classroom instruction, laboratory work, supervised practice in two on-campus public clinics, and community-based outreach placements. Students develop assessment and treatment techniques for conditions affecting the muscular, nervous, fascial, joint, and lymphatic systems. The program can be completed in 24 months through continuous delivery and is accredited by CMTCA, with graduates reporting strong pass rates on the CMTO licensing exam. All core lectures, labs, clinic experience, and clinical placements are delivered in person. The credential awarded is an Ontario College Advanced Diploma, nominally completed over three years across six semesters. Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, Grade 12 College or University English, Grade 11 or 12 Biology, and one additional science course, plus a clear vulnerable-sector police check, CPR/first aid certification, and a pre-clearance health form.

Admission Requirements: Entry requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature-applicant status at 19 or older, plus Grade 12 English at the College (C) or University (U) level, Grade 11 or 12 Biology at the College (C) or University (U) level, and one additional Grade 11 or 12 science course in Physics, Chemistry, or Exercise Science, or equivalent. English-language proficiency is required. Before starting the clinical portion of the program, students must provide a clear police check with vulnerable sector screening, Health Care Provider-level CPR and standard first aid certification, mask-fit testing, and a pre-clearance health form from a physician or nurse practitioner.
