There are no assigned lecture hours for this online program. Project managers are in high demand across all industries. This one-year, two-semester Ontario College Graduate Certificate Program will be delivered online. The program will prepare graduates for a rewarding career in the field of Project Management. This program is intended for applicants who previously completed post-secondary education in any discipline and wish to increase their employability by working towards a globally recognized certification in project management. It is also ideal for experienced project managers seeking to bring a new dimension of leadership to their work. The program courses follow A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, (PMBOK® Guide). Enhancing the use of this guide, the program curriculum includes courses in organizational leadership, communications & employment preparedness, and understanding of the fundamentals of business. The curriculum includes leading-edge industry case studies and hands-on integration of technological tools such as the Microsoft Project. The program will prepare you to select and justify projects, initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects. You will acquire the competencies to develop comprehensive project management plans that would guide project teams through various project lifecycles (predictive, agile, and hybrid). In addition, you will acquire the competencies to lead diverse project teams and leverage content-specific knowledge from your previous studies and experiences. During the second semester, you will participate in small teams in a capstone course (experiential learning opportunity) and collaborate with local organizations on various projects under the supervision of faculty. Admission Requirements: This postgraduate certificate admits applicants holding a degree or college diploma in any discipline, or, for those who completed roughly half of a university program, at least two years of relevant work experience assessed through transcript and resume review; Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition is also available. The programme page defers standardized English-test scores to Centennial's general language-proficiency page, whose Degree Programs & Graduate Certificates scale applies: IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band under 6.0, TOEFL iBT 81 with Reading at least 19 and Writing at least 23, PTE Academic 60 or higher, or Duolingo 125 or higher. No portfolio, interview, or minimum admission GPA is published; a 2.0 GPA is required for graduation, not admission.

Application Deadline:Centennial publishes no application deadline for this program; what follows is the Ontario college cycle that governs it. Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for a program starting in Fall 2027 the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, and applications arriving after it are still assessed, but first-come first-served while places remain. Across the Ontario college system the application opened on 26 September 2026, offers may be issued from 1 November 2026, and an offer must be accepted by 1 May 2027. One $150 fee covers up to five program choices. International applicants apply directly to Centennial through its own international application process and are assessed on a rolling basis across the Fall, Winter and Summer intakes; the college publishes no fixed international closing date. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
