Social Science is a two-year pre-university Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC, program code 300.A1) offered at Champlain College Lennoxville. The program combines general and scientific learning across a range of social-science disciplines, building students' ability to understand and analyze human realities and preparing them for university study in a wide range of fields. Five profiles are offered, Sports and Leisure, Commerce, Global Studies, Criminology, and Psychology and Society, letting students combine a shared Social Science core with coursework aligned to their intended university program; some university programs may require specific prerequisite courses beyond this shared core. The program forms part of Champlain Lennoxville's pre-university offering alongside Liberal Arts, Science, and Science, Computer Science and Mathematics, and leads to direct entry into Quebec university programs across many disciplines rather than to immediate employment.
