Diploma in Arts, Literature & Communication

This Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Arts, Literature and Communication (500.AE) is a pre-university programme for students interested in culture, expression, and media, combining coursework in the arts, literature, and communication with study across three languages. Courses examine national and cultural issues from a bilingual Canadian and Quebec perspective, and studies take place in Quebec City, a UNESCO City of Literature. The programme runs over two years across four semesters, with up to 22-24 contact hours weekly, and admits students each Fall. Students who wish to demonstrate prior Spanish knowledge may complete a Language Equivalency Procedure. Graduates typically pursue university programmes in the arts, humanities, and communication fields.
