Associate of Science Degree

Admission Requirements: Admission follows the University Studies – Associate of Science Degree page in Coast Mountain College's catalogue. Grade 12 is recommended, with English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12 (or equivalent), Pre-Calculus 11 or equivalent, and at least one of Life Sciences 11, Chemistry 11, or Physics 11 (or equivalent); applicants apply directly to the Associate of Science program. Prerequisites for individual courses are set out in their own descriptions, and students missing them may take Career & College Preparation upgrading alongside the program. English proficiency is required of every CMTN applicant; per the institution's general admission requirements, international applicants meet it through an approved test, or by completing senior secondary or post-secondary study, including a passing English 12, in a designated English-speaking country. No portfolio or interview condition is listed. Intakes run Spring, Fall, and Winter across the Terrace, Prince Rupert, and Smithers campuses.
