Associate of Science Degree

Admission Requirements: The program page for the Associate of Science degree does not list its own entrance requirements and instead points applicants to Selkirk College's general Admission Requirements page. Under that general standard, applicants must hold a BC senior secondary school diploma or equivalent, or be 19 years of age or older; those meeting neither must be enrolled in a recognised secondary-transitions pathway or supply written parent or guardian consent and community support letters. First-time applicants may be asked to complete the College Readiness Tool. The general page notes some programs carry their own additional academic requirements, but for the Associate of Science neither page states a minimum grade, GPA, or an English-language test score such as IELTS or TOEFL. Domestic applicants pay a non-refundable $40 application fee, waived for students returning to the same program; international applicants apply through EducationPlannerBC or directly to Selkirk, the latter route carrying a $100 fee.
