Cert in General Office Work

General Office Work is a certificate program offered by the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) that prepares students to perform routine administrative office tasks across a range of business settings. Coursework develops competencies in customer service, basic accounting, information management, professional correspondence, and oral and written communication, including basic English vocabulary for customer-facing situations. Students learn to operate common office software applications used in day-to-day administrative work, alongside the customer-service habits and accounting basics expected in a busy front office. The program totals 30 weeks of training and is offered at five CCNB campuses across the province. It suits students who are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with routine clerical tasks, and who want a fast entry point into administrative support roles across a variety of industries and workplaces.
