The Acute Care Attendant with Canadian Workplace Integration certificate prepares students to provide nursing care, in a hospital setting, to patients with acute conditions or who are convalescing. The 39-week program includes internships on hospital acute-care units and leads to a CCNB certificate. It is offered across CCNB's five campuses (Bathurst, Campbellton, Dieppe, Edmundston, and Péninsule acadienne), starting in January. Admission follows Profile A: a high school diploma (regular or modified program) or an adult high school diploma, or passing the CCNB admission test. International applicants may qualify with a secondary school diploma or equivalent and by passing the CCNB admission test.
