Overview
Marketing is a diploma program offered by the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) that trains students to carry out the day-to-day tasks of a marketing technician. Coursework covers fundamental marketing principles, consumer behaviour, market research, digital marketing, social media management, web analytics, search-engine optimization, digital content creation, integrated marketing communication, brand management, and customer-relationship management, and concludes with an integrated capstone project and a workplace internship. The 60-week program is offered at the Dieppe campus. It suits students who are creative, analytical, and interested in consumer trends and digital communication. Graduates are prepared for roles in advertising, marketing, and public relations, and as economic development officers, market researchers, and marketing analysts, with the program offering further-study pathways to Université de Moncton, Université Laval, and Griffith University.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Domestic admission follows CCNB's Profile C: a New Brunswick high school diploma (regular, modified, or adult programme), GED, or CCÉA, plus Mathematics 30311B or 30331C. Applicants who do not meet this pathway may instead pass the CCNB admission test; the same test applies to international applicants alongside an equivalent secondary diploma. As with all CCNB programmes, applicants whose mother tongue is not French, or who have not completed at least three years of French-language secondary schooling or a French-language postsecondary programme, must demonstrate French proficiency through the TFI (minimum score 700), TCF or TEF Canada (level B2), DELF (B2), or DALF (C1).
