Program details

Overview

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Prerequisites (Collège Montmorency's own program page): a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) and a DEP in Intervention en sécurité incendie (5191, 5305 or 5322). Applicants for this intensive pathway must already hold a DEC, have completed all general-education courses, or be registered to finish the missing ones before the Fall session starts. Admission is Fall only, usually open through SRAM's 1st round; among all applicants meeting the conditions, a maximum of 312 are preselected on academic results, and selection also includes a physical-aptitude test. Candidates must hold a valid class-4A driver's licence for the whole program. No minimum grade or GPA figure is published. Applicants without Canadian status apply to this program through SRAM as international candidates; Collège Montmorency's own admission pages set a minimum B2 level in both written and spoken French for international applicants, met through Bright (minimum 3.7 in every section) or DELF/DALF (an overall score of at least 67 with a minimum of 16.75 in each of the four components).
