The PhD in Education is a doctoral program in Concordia University's Department of Education, Faculty of Arts and Science, that develops advanced knowledge of the qualitative and quantitative methods used in educational research. The program examines the disciplinary links between childhood and adult education and gives students a foundation for research across a range of disciplines and theoretical orientations. Faculty in the department specialize in applied linguistics, child studies, educational studies, and educational technology, and students pursue supervised research within these areas. The degree requires 90 credits and has a nominal full-time duration of four years, based at the Sir George Williams campus. New students are admitted in the fall term only.
