The Graduate Diploma in Instructional Technology is a one-year, 30-credit program preparing students for careers developing instructional and informational materials and supporting technology projects in training and communication departments, higher education institutions, schools and non-profit organizations. Delivered on Concordia's Sir George Williams campus, the program admits students in the Fall term only. Admission requires a bachelor's degree with at least a major, or the equivalent, in any subject. Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate sufficient English proficiency for graduate study. On completion, graduates receive a Graduate Diploma in Instructional Technology and are prepared for instructional design and educational technology roles across a range of institutional settings. Coursework covers instructional design principles, learning technologies and project-based application of these skills in real organizational settings.
