Overview
This Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accountancy, delivered through Concordia's John Molson School of Business, combines a core business curriculum with accounting-specific study in budgeting, quantitative analysis, financial statement preparation and analysis, taxation, and auditing theory, alongside problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. Full-time study takes a minimum of three to four years (90-120 credits), with classes held on the Sir George Williams campus. A cooperative education option offers paid work terms of 12 to 16 weeks in which students handle personal and corporate tax files, conduct audits, perform reconciliations, and take part in cost-accounting projects. An integrated path allows up to six credits to count toward both the Bachelor of Accountancy and a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Professional Accountancy. The program is AACSB-accredited and its courses meet the standards of Quebec's CPA designation. It is aimed at students pursuing professional accounting credentials and careers in accounting firms, corporations, banks, and government organizations, and is described as suited to students with an appetite for continuous learning.

Application Details
Start Date:September and January
Application Deadline:Domestic applicants, including Quebec CEGEP graduates, apply directly to Concordia: for Fall 2027 entry (September start) the application deadline is 1 March 2027, and for Winter 2027 entry (January start) it is 1 November 2026; not all programs admit in Winter. Concordia sets the same formal deadlines for U.S. and international applicants but strongly recommends applying earlier - by 1 February 2027 for Fall or 1 August 2026 for Winter - to allow time for immigration processing. Late applications are considered if space remains, and Concordia does not publish a separate application-opening date. Graduate programs, including the Executive MBA, set their own per-program deadlines rather than following this university-wide undergraduate date. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
