Overview
This Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering is a research-based, two-year, 45-credit graduate program at Concordia University. The program deepens students' technical knowledge in the planning and design of civil infrastructure and facilities, their construction processes, their operation, and their environmental impact, through original supervised research culminating in a thesis. It is delivered on-campus at Concordia's Sir George Williams campus, with intakes offered in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms. Applicants normally hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with high academic standing. Funding packages, including awards and assistantships, are generally available to students in this thesis-based program, with additional dedicated funding available to out-of-province Canadian students. Graduates are prepared for advanced technical and research roles in civil engineering practice, industry, or further doctoral studies.
