Building Superintendence and Repair is a one-year Ontario College Certificate program that prepares students for building maintenance roles, either live-in or live-out. Over 30 weeks, students learn to inspect and maintain residential and commercial buildings, including interior repairs, painting, cleaning, and basic plumbing and building-systems upkeep. Coursework also covers grounds maintenance, record keeping, coordinating with contractors and service providers, and managing landlord-tenant relations. Students develop practical skills for day-to-day property upkeep alongside the administrative and communication skills needed to run a building efficiently. The program is offered at Conestoga's Brantford and Kitchener-Doon campuses. Graduates are prepared for building superintendent, maintenance technician, and property management support roles in residential and commercial properties.
