PGCert in Construction Project Management

Construction Project Management is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate at Conestoga College's Waterloo campus, delivered full-time over two academic terms. The program provides specialized, practical training in construction project management for graduates of diploma or degree programs in construction-related fields. Core coursework covers contract administration, quality management, bidding and estimating, project planning, scheduling and risk management, complemented by leadership, communication and negotiation skills. Learning is delivered through case studies, group work and a final comprehensive project. The program prepares students for professional certification exams including CAPM, PMP, PQS and Gold Seal, and requires a laptop for coursework. The program is designed for domestic students (Canadian citizens, permanent residents and convention refugees); international students pursuing construction management should instead take Construction Management (program 1378).
