Overview

Motive Power Technician - Heavy Duty Equipment (Optional Co-op) is a two-year Ontario College Diploma delivered in person at Conestoga's Cambridge - Reuter Drive campus. The hands-on program builds the technical skills to service and maintain the machines behind construction, mining and transportation, and includes Level 1 and Level 2 apprenticeship training equivalencies for a head start toward certification. Students learn from experienced faculty in a professional shop environment and explore career opportunities beyond the shop floor.
