Diploma in Police Foundations is a diploma in Fire, Justice & Security programme taught at Conestoga College in Kitchener, Canada. The programme runs for 2 years, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 15,477 per year (CAD 2,750 per year for local students).
Over two years, the diploma builds the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values sought in public-sector law enforcement candidates, framing justice through a lens of social equity alongside modern policing practice. Students work through the complexities facing contemporary policing using a mix of theory and simulation-based exercises, developing a community-centred approach that applies across careers in criminal justice and public safety.
