Overview
Massage Therapy at Conestoga is a two-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma delivered in an accelerated six-term format at the Kitchener - Doon campus. The integrated curriculum spans anatomy and physiology, massage-specific knowledge and skills, and clinical reasoning for therapeutic decision making. The program is accredited by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation and is designed to meet the educational requirements for certification as a Registered Massage Therapist through the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Domestic entry: an OSSD or equivalent, or mature-student standing at 19 or older, with Grade 12 English (C or U) or Preparatory Communications (COMM1251); Grade 11 or 12 Biology (C or U) or Preparatory Biology (SCIE1010); Grade 11 or 12 Physics or Chemistry (C or U) or Preparatory Chemistry (SCIE1030); and Grade 11 or 12 Mathematics (C or U), Preparatory Mathematics (MATH1420) or Grade 12 Kinesiology (PSK4U). Working knowledge of keyboarding and word processing is expected. Before clinical or field placement, and by the deadline in the practicum package issued in first year, students must produce a full immunisation record covering MMR, Tdap, varicella and hepatitis B, seasonal flu vaccination during the October to March season, 2-step TB testing, Standard First Aid and CPR at BLS level completed in Canada, and an annual vulnerable sector police check clear of unpardoned offences; some agencies ask for a check issued within six months of the placement start. International applicants: Conestoga's international requirements page takes this diploma out of the standard diploma and certificate score row but does not publish a replacement minimum for it, so confirm the required English score with International Admissions before booking a test. Anyone holding transcripts from outside Canada, Canadian citizens and permanent residents included, needs a course-by-course credential evaluation from a service such as ICAS or WES, and must show English proficiency if the language of instruction was not English.

Application Deadline:No deadline specific to this program is published. Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca, where the college-wide equal consideration date is 1 February 2027 for entry in Fall 2027: the application opened on 26 September 2026, offers may be issued from 1 November 2026, and an offer must be confirmed by 1 May 2027. Applications are still accepted after 1 February in most Conestoga programs, but most oversubscribed programs stop accepting them on that date. International applicants have no fixed deadline - applications are assessed first-come, first-served in the OCAS international applicant portal until the program reaches capacity.
