Mechanical Engineering Technology - Robotics and Automation is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma delivered in hybrid format at Conestoga's Cambridge - Fountain Street campus, featuring co-operative education with six academic terms at the college and three work terms in industry. Admission Requirements: Conestoga's Mechanical Engineering Technology – Robotics and Automation higher diploma requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or mature student status for applicants 19 or older by the program start. English: Grade 12 Compulsory English at C or U, or equivalent, or Conestoga's Preparatory Communications course (COMM1251). Mathematics: Grade 12 Mathematics at C or U, or equivalent, or Conestoga's Preparatory Mathematics for Technology & Apprenticeship (MATH1385); the admissions page lists course-specific cutoffs — MCT4C at 55%, MAP4C at 80%, MHF4U and MCV4U at 55%, MDM4U at 70%, and MATH1385 at 55% — noting MCT4C is strongly recommended and that a sound mathematical background is considered during selection, with minimum cutoffs applying. Applicants must have basic computer literacy.
