Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario College Diploma, Ontario College Advanced Diploma, or university degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Developmental Services, Education, Psychology or Sociology, or an equivalent, or an acceptable combination with a minimum five years of related work and personal experience. Canadian citizens and permanent residents with transcripts from outside Canada require a course-by-course credential evaluation, and applicants whose prior instruction was not in English must meet Conestoga's English language requirements, though the programme page states no specific IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or similar score and no minimum GPA. Before field or clinical placements, students must provide current two-step TB testing (plus a further one-step test if over a year has passed) and a Police Check for Vulnerable Sector Screening with no unpardonable criminal offences.
