PGCert in Clinical Research

Clinical Research is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate at Conestoga College's Kitchener - Doon campus, offered by the School of Health & Life Sciences and delivered full-time over two academic terms, with intakes in September, January and May. The program builds on an existing science or healthcare background and provides hands-on experience in campus research facilities. Coursework covers research design concepts, foundational data analysis, privacy and data management, and ethical practice standards for clinical research. Students study clinical study protocols across the pharmaceutical, cannabis, medical device and natural health industries, along with public health and epidemiology. The curriculum also addresses the use of artificial intelligence and diagnostic technologies such as genomic sequencing in clinical research, supporting entry into the clinical research industry.
