Information Technology Network Security is a one-year Ontario College Graduate Certificate delivered in hybrid format at Conestoga's Waterloo campus. Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario College diploma, advanced diploma, degree, or equivalent in a technology-based field such as computing, engineering, IT, or applications development, with an overall average grade of B or above (assessed, by country, to Ontario standards); or an Ontario College diploma, advanced diploma, degree, or equivalent in another field combined with a minimum of five years of full-time work experience as an IT system or network administrator or in a similar role, with an overall average grade of B or above; or an Ontario College diploma alone combined with a minimum of five years of full-time work experience as an IT system or network administrator or in a similar role, with an overall average grade of B or above. All applicants are expected to have fundamental experience with Microsoft and Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts including TCP/IP. Canadian citizens and permanent residents with transcripts from outside Canada require a course-by-course credential evaluation through a provider such as ICAS or WES. Applicants whose prior instruction was not in English must demonstrate English language proficiency per Conestoga's institution-wide requirements for degree and graduate certificate programs (IELTS Academic 6.5, TOEFL iBT 88, PTE Academic 58, or Duolingo 120).
