Overview

The Career Advance MBA is a part-time Master of Business Administration offered by Dalhousie University's Faculty of Management for working, mid-career professionals. The curriculum balances management theory, analytical methods, and day-to-day business practice to address complex organizational challenges. Courses are billed and completed individually rather than as part of a fixed cohort program, and delivery is blended, combining online coursework with periodic in-person sessions typically held in Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, or Halifax. The program admits domestic applicants only. Candidates normally hold a four-year bachelor's degree or, alternatively, at least ten years of professional experience assessed through Dalhousie's Prior Learning Assessment process, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience after their undergraduate degree. The self-paced, per-course structure allows completion to range from two and a half to seven years. Graduates pursue advanced management and leadership roles across public, private, and non-profit sectors.

Requirements
