Requirements
Admission Requirements: The programme page defers to Douglas College's General College Admission Requirements (https://www.douglascollege.ca/admissions/requirements-and-assessment-testing/general-college-admissions-requirements) — B.C. secondary graduation or an equivalent, standing one course short of it, being nineteen by the start of the semester, being seventeen with a year out of school, or an approved special-needs or Evergreen credential — and adds only an advisory note: many courses in the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration require Foundations of Math 11 or Pre-Calculus 11 (or the Business Readiness Assessment) as a prerequisite, so applicants are strongly encouraged to check individual course prerequisites before registering. Applicants must also meet Douglas College's institution-wide English Language Proficiency requirement: Grade 12 English at a minimum grade of C (English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, or English 12) or Communications 12 at B, or a recognized test score such as IELTS Academic overall band 6.5, TOEFL iBT overall 4.5 with no section below 4.0, PTE Academic 56, Duolingo English Test 110, or CAEL 60. No portfolio, interview or other non-academic condition is listed for admission to this certificate.
